A thought leader for the industries he works in, Brent speaks at numerous climate and energy conferences including: United Nations COP21, ENOVA, and ZERO and is a Special Adviser to the Chinese Government for Energy Policy.
Chief Technical Officer
Chris Kruger is responsible for PBES’ technology strategy and implementation. Chris possesses a unique ability to understand energy storage from the design side as well as the end user side and has a reputation for integrity of character and quality of delivered product. As the technology leader at PBES develops energy storage solutions that exceed customer expectations.
Chief Financial Officer
Paul Hughes has extensive expertise within the renewable energy, alternative fuels and biochemical sector. His career includes senior management roles in both start-ups and established energy companies. Paul has co-founded energy companies in Europe and North America, has led an energy company from start-up through to IPO.
Geoff Davenport has 40 years of experience in senior sales and strategic leadership roles including IBM, BCTel and Alpha Technologies. His unique combination of experience and demonstrated ability to build teams, combined with a passion for renewable energy brings additional strength and focus to building PBES’ advanced energy storage business.

Grant Brown is a passionate environmentalist, driven by a need to “leave it better than he found it”. This drive, combined with a capacity to understand power solutions of all types, gives him the ability to explain the benefits of energy storage and inspire others to become a part of the change towards clean energy.
VP Global Service
Brian Grison has spent his entire working life in the marine industry – specializing in Marine Technology and Marine Design Management. He has commissioned and serviced the ESS components of a wide range of hybrid installations including ferries, port cranes and tugboats.
